CD Repair Information! CDs, DVDs and game disks are made up of layers. The bottom layer is a clear plastic layer, the middle layer is the dye layer, where the information is stored, then there is a print and lacquer layer. DVDs can have more layers. |

As long as the dye layer is not damaged, the disk can be repaired. Most scratches occur on the softer plastic bottom layer and our lab is equipped with the proper equipment to gently polish this layer without damaging the information layer. |
| Our service is a lot cheaper than buying a new disk and you have nothing to lose - if your disc is not repairable, we'll refund your repair payment. We will email you if your disk is non-repairable Any questions, please email sales@cd-repair.co.uk |

We can repair scratches to the playable side of the media, as long as the data layer is not damaged. This layer is at the top of most disks and in the centre of DVDs. Deep scratches to the top of the disk mean it is is not repairable. A warped or cracked CD or DVD cannot be repaired.
